The 2010 United States Open Golf Championship will be the 110th U.S. Open, and is scheduled to be played from June 17-20. This will be the fifth U.S. Open to be played at Pebble Beach Golf Links, and the first since 2000.

Field

About half the field each year consists of players who are fully exempt from qualifying for the U.S. Open. The players who have already qualified for the 2010 U.S. Open are listed below; this assumes the same criteria as in the 2009 event. Each player is classified according to the first category in which he qualified, but other categories are shown in parentheses.[1] The italicized dates represent when the outcome will be decided.

Course

The course will be over 7,000 yards in length, with Arnold Palmer having done some renovations to it, by adding new tee boxes on holes 3, 9, 10, 11, and 13. There has also been 5 pot bunkers built on the left side of number 6 replacing the old bunker.
