POA to decide tomorrow about National Games in Peshawar PESHAWAR: The final decision for holding the National Games in Peshawar will be taken here on Tuesday at the council meeting of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA). According to the POA sources, only after receiving the report regarding security situation from secretary Sarhad Olympic Association Syed Aqil Shah, this will be decided to hold the National Games from March 25 in Peshawar or postpone them again for some period. A few members of the Olympic Council told Geo News that they are not in favour of holding the National Games in Peshawar. They said that at the moment these games be held in Islamabad and the next games be allotted to Peshawar. Report on security will also be submitted at the meeting by the security committee of the Pakistan Olympic Association. |
