PCB bars players from playing BD Cricket League in Sharjah LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has stopped the national players from participating in the Bangladesh Cricket League to be held in Sharjah. Many players including Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik and Abdul Razzaq were due to play in the Bangladesh Cricket League to be held in Sharjah from March 26. The PCB has directed the players not to take part in the BD League as it does not want to take any risk on the players’ fitness. Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Shoaib Malik, Fawad Alam, Umar Gul, Misbah-ul-Haq and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan were due to play the league cricket in Sharjah. This has been said in a press release issue by the PCB that no Pakistani player can play cricket anywhere in the world without getting the permission from the board. |
