Chappell rebuffs Pakistan's coaching offer LAHORE: Former Australian captain Greg Chappell has turned down an offer to take up the reins of Pakistan's embattled cricket team, saying that he does not intend to coach at the international level anymore. Chappell is currently the head coach at Australia's Centre of Excellence and chairman of the National Youth Selection Panel. The former Australia captain said he was approached by Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Wasim Bari to replace Intikhab Alam. " I was honoured and flattered by the approach but I have declined the invitation," Chappell said. |
